I'm "busy" waiting for some furniture to delivered. Ugh! I think I'll spend the time knitting, trying to finish 2 sweaters so I can get on with my class samples.
The lavender Feather and Fan baby sweater is moving right along only have the sleeves left, actually I only have the sleeves left on Suzanne's cotton sweater.
Wanted to meet Donna at the Coffee Cup but I forgot about the furniture. Darn should have call to let them know when I would be here.

Busy Knitting forgot to blog

I've been busy with my grandsons all of last week, so knitting had to take a back seat. I worked on finishing up a couple project and working on some samples for classes.

I finished the Cable Sampler Bag, which isn't really cables at all, and I finished the Drifting Dreams Jacket by Jill Vosberg. What a fun project and one I actually keep for myself. I think we will offer this as a class.

Fred is still in Alaska chasing the abundant Rainbow Trout and King Salmon so I have lots of time on my hands. YES

Welcome

Welcome to my blog. I've decided to keep track not only of my knitting projects but my thoughts as I knit along.
I love knitting and discovered it only 10 years ago. It occupies a lot of my time and is my favorite "reward" for doing things like house cleaning or laundry.
I'm also an avid gardener and that cuts into my knitting time in the spring but well worth it as summer moves along.

My husband is an avid fly fisherman and will be in Alaska for several weeks...so it will be knitting +4. I made sweaters for all the guys going, like the one in my finished projects, fun but 3 of the small was a little boring.

I have 4 grandkids 2 of each variety and 1 wonderful English Springer Spaniel. I get to see my grandson on a regular basis since they live just up the hill, but the little girls are in CA and I don't see them nearly enough. My dog is a constant companion and when I visit CA my daughter's beagles make sure whatever I'm knitting is soft enought to sit on.

Right now I'm working in a lace sweater for myself, will see how long that lasts, as I always seem to give everything away. It is in Wool BamBoo in a wonderful melon color and the pattern is Drifting Dreams Jacket by Jill Vosburg. Great pattern and really fun to knit.
